Week 5

As I am looking through the book 2 story's stuck out to me, 1 on page 448 a monk set him self on fire to protest the Vietnam war and  the suppression of his life choices, The first challenge for anyone not just photo journalism is, you are watching someone burn and that is hard to watch, the next difficulty is being able to capture the expressions of the people watching this happen and still remaining focused on what is going on right in front of you. the second story on page 381 also involved with the  Vietnam war. There is a man about to execute a handcuffed, crying man in the middle of the street for treason. the difficultly here is, someone will die in front of you and you cant stop it and if you try or do anything, you may get shot yourself, that is a very difficult situation for anybody and then being able to capture the horror and fear on the mans face is indescribable.
